My Bengali Diaries.....

its been 2 months n more since i m in a new place...the land of tagore, sandhesh, devdas n the hoogly...also the land of communalism n frequent "cholbena" slogans...

good things about this place
-a hell lot of sweets ,tht too of umpteen varities....
-shoppers paradise

bad things
-humoungous insects
-a very very humid weather which will make u feel sticky inside out....
-horrible traffic
-a NH which looks like a street in chandini chowk

well i m used to all these in the past 2 months...change n adaptation are the main parts of human life...tht i have realised within the past one year...n your life is what you create....

something which i carry over from my days of vacationing back home are late nights..the lack of a proper internet connection forced me to turn to tv and to watchiing 'FRIENDS'..n eventually bcoming an absolute FRIEND fanatic....n i went on to buy the full 10 seasons of FRIENDS..well another one item to my list of precious things....

the one thing that put me in2 fix in my initial days over here was the language ,not xcatly the language bt the diction..where there is only 'o' in place of many letters, often put me in2 trouble...like the odar day when i got confused as wht a 'mog' is:whn it was actually a "mug"..n which eventually lead a layman to throw astonishin looks at me as if wht a person who doesnt even kno what a 'mog' is...
the language absurdities still continue..hope i will catch up one day.....

to be contd:
